Marillian Cosplay

Martine, aka. Marilian Cosplay, has been a cosplayer for over a decade. She won her first competition in 2016, and is currently the reigning Nordic Champion of Cosplay, after placing first in the NCC this summer with her brilliant Stede Bonnet from Our Flag Mens Death!

She enjoys making elaborate costumes with a lot of intricate details. One of her favourite parts of making a cosplay is the process of trial and error, and figuring out new techniques. She loves challenging herself and learning new skillsets to take her cosplays to the next level. 

Martine formerly worked as a cosplay teacher at Namdals Folkehøgskole, and she enjoys sharing the knowledge and experience she has gained over the years!

We’re excited for her to lend her many talent to judging our Cosplay Masters contest! And if you want to learn some of what she has to teach, make sure not to miss her panel on fabric transformation, where she will be covering a lot of the techniques she used on her award-winning NCC cosplay!
